Mountainport Farms
Our little slice of heaven….
Located just east of Canora, SK, Mountainport Farms is operated by Sheri Mitchell (with lots of help from her “retired” husband!)
For many years, our focus was on Boer goats, a South African breed of meat goat. Gradually, my love of horses led us in a new direction and, while we still have goats, we are now focusing more on the horses and tack.
My “Equine Decompression Chamber”
Horses are an amazing stress reliever. It took two years of being horseless to remember that. All I can say is, “never again!”
Our then one-week old foal, Journey, gets his first kiss. The first of many, I might add.
While the tack business takes me away from the farm now and then, we are always happy to have visitors.
Just call ahead and we’ll be sure to have the coffee on!
